The Carriage House Huddersfield, used to be a popular truck stop on the A62 “Trans Pennine” route before the M62 was built.

Today it is a popular public house, with camping and restaurant facilities.

It is also a popular meeting point for classic vehicle enthusiasts.

Once a year in June they host one of the best Classic Vehicle Gatherings in the area, with Cars, Motorcycles and lorries coming from all over the region.

This evening saw a huge number of classics.

PAC 585F our beautiful 1968 Series IIA Station Wagon stood proud along with 20 or more other Land Rovers, as well as some very interesting classics of all shapes and sizes.

A great evening was had by all – meeting with and chatting to like minded enthusiasts.

We have picked out a handful of photographs of some of our favourite exhibits – We hope you enjoy.
