We have been exporting Land Rovers to the USA since 1991- and one of the “Most requested” vehicles is a 110 5 door County Station Wagon. For most of this time, it was not possible to import them, as they were “too new” – and in the last couple of years since the very early examples have been eligible – It has been difficult to find GOOD examples that do not need completely rebuilding.
Obviously, there are companies out there who will promise to “rebuild you one like new”, with the latest engine and gearbox etc etc – but one has to question how much of the original vehicle (if any) you would be getting – and are these vehicles going to be considered “100% legal” in the event of an accident ?
