UBX 929T – 1978 – 88″ Series III – 7 Seater Station Wagon “Lucille”

“Lucille” is a genuine 7 seater station wagon (4 x individual rear seats will be refitted prior to sale) that we have known since 1999, when we bought her from the original owners “Radio Trent”. At that time she had covered 16,000 miles. She was subsequently sold, and has just returned to us.

The chassis and bulkhead are rust free – with no structural issues at all. Mechanically, she starts runs and drives exactly as you would expect of a Land Rover with such low miles. There is an overdrive, which is slightly noisy, but worth having.

Cosmetically, as you can see the panel work is excellent with no damage, and the interior is very clean and original. The 4 x individual rear seats are present and can be fitted (with belts) if required.

New parabolic springs and radial tyres give a good ride.

This Land Rover would be ideally suited to someone who is looking for a very smart and presentable Land Rover that will give very good reliability, but with out the expense of a fully restored example.
