YSY 331 – Rare 1963 Land Rover Dormobile – 200TDi Diesel – Galvanised Chassis
These were originally converted by Martin Walters, and marketed as the “Dormobile”
Conversions were carried out on many vehicles of the day, the most popular of which must have been the Land Rover.
Getting very rare now, this one has been restored, with some upgrades to make it a more usable camper rather than a “show pony” – although having said that – it would be the centre of attention at any car show:
This vehicle was re-imported from Jersey and has since benefited from the following restoration work:
- Discovery 200 tdi engine,
- Series 3 gearbox,

- later 2a wing top to accommodate servo,
