Simon, from Dublin purchased RPV 552W – a 1981 Series III Land Rover from us some time ago.
As well as our usual preparation, we also fitted some high back rear seats. a swing away tailgate and rear wheel carrier, plus an extra spare wheel.
Being a very busy man, Simon has been struggling to find time to come and collect the Land Rover from us – so today, he sent Tommy over on the ferry to Holyhead, and we delivered the Land Rover to meet him just outside the ferry port, and hand over the Land Rover personally.
Tommy was then able to jump into the Land Rover, and drive round to “Departures” to catch the 5:15 ferry back !
