Back in 1995 “Mrs C” a local mill owners wife purchased a lovely original 1983 Land Rover Series 3 Station Wagon.
These were quite rare, as by this time, the “County” model was all the rage, and so a basic station wagon 88 was a little unusual.
It was intended to be used by her daughters at their weekend / summer holiday home in Wales.
A chance meeting last summer at a local agricultural show and “Mrs C” took great delight in assuring us that the Land Rover was still being put to great use, and is still in excellent condition after 27 years of their ownership
