Back in July this year, Mark from Munich purchased a lovely 1961 Series II pick up from us.
Being a “Car nut” – he knew what he wanted – an original, unrestored example.
Luckily we had just the Land Rover and BKX 428A was soon prepared and delivered to Germany.
Today, we were pleased to hear that not only has “BKX” got it’s TUV Certificate, and German plates, but also that it has won a trophy !!

The new Landy wins first time out. Most original and best 4×4 of show. Lots of cars there this year as well. It has taken quite a while to get it all registered as it turns out that this is the only model from 1961 in this configuration registered in Germany. I had to wait for a certificate from the TUV which took a few weeks.

Mark has been a loyal customer for over 12 years, having purchased a 4 year old 110 from us back in 2000, this was exchanged for a brand new 110 in 2002 and in 2009 he purchased a Series III 88″ County.
