Last week we were contacted by Ed – He acquired “James” – the 1969 Land Rover Series 2A a few years ago from His Uncle – Who purchased the Land Rover from us back in 2012.
Nicknamed “James” – Due to its “SPY” registration number
As always, we were able to go through our records and fill in the gaps.
We are pleased to see the Land Rover is still being enjoyed !
“Hi Mark,
Thank you for getting back to me, and so promptly. It’s very helpful to know some of the heritage!
I took ownership a few years ago but was based overseas until last summer. “James”, as my uncle referred to him on account of his plate, was stored in a barn for a few years by a friendly neighbour and then re-commissioned for service last October.
As requested a few pictures to show how he is being enjoyed by his new owner. Most recently celebrating Mothers Day!
Best regards,
Ed.”
