Rovers Magazine is North America’s largest Land Rover specific publication, with over 25,000 subscribers.
Derek and his lovely Series IIA Land Rover are regular features in our “Latest News” section, and he has just written an article “The Most proper Purchase” which features in the winter 2013 Rovers Magazine.
It outlines his purchase (from us) of his 1971 Series IIA Land Rover, and his experience with the importation process – Pages 20 & 21 – well worth a read if you are thinking of buying a Land Rover.
By coincidence, the same magazine features an article by David Short – who has been a “Friend of the Land Rover Centre” for probably 15 years or more, when we first assisted in shipping a Land Rover out to the US for him. That one was a Series III Short Wheel Base, and we have since shipped him a 109″ V8 – Which he still has.
His 6 page article (Pages 10 to 15) is about the Rover Owners of Virginia Summer Rally, and by further coincidence, his pictures include a shot of HCX 295S – a 109″ Series III Station Wagon that we carried out a ground up restoration on, and shipped out to North Carolina in 2003.
She still looks great !
