A few weeks ago, Giles from Northamptonshire reserved our 1959 Series II Land Rover UMW 740 – “Subject To Viewing”.
Today, Giles and son Jack travelled up to visit us.
We had a lovely drive around the Yorkshire countryside, and “UMW” performed exactly as expected.
We will now put it through our workshop for final preparation and MOT before delivery in the next few weeks.
** Since November 18th 2002, vehicles manufactured before 1960 have been exempt from MOT. There are mixed views on the pros and cons of this new legislation, but here at Land Rover Centre – we will continue to provide our “Pre 60 Land Rovers” with an independent MOT certificate prior to sale.
