One of the most difficult aspects of our job here at Land Rover Centre is finding the best Land Rovers we can for our customers.
So – when we get the chance to buy back a Land Rover we have previously built – we usually jump at the chance.
Today was an early start for one of our buyers, and a trip up to Cumbria to see Tony – who purchased NCA 970G from us back in 2010.
At that time, the Land Rover had been re-manufactured from the ground up, including Galvanised Chassis, refurbished bulkhead, parabolic springs and much more.
Having covered only 1,100 gentle miles since the rebuild, Tony had decided that he was just not using the Land Rover enough to justify ownership – So after thinking long and hard, he decided it was time for the Land Rover to have a new custodian.
Having been for a nice drive in the Land Rover this afternoon, we can report that the engine pulls really well, and it is happy to cruise at 60 mph.
The parabolic springs, and gas shock absorbers give the Land Rover a great ride.
