Today we were contacted by James from West Wales.
He has recently purchased an X-Press 1981 Series III County Station wagon.
The Land Rover carried our branded mud flaps and name badge, so James sent us an e mail to see if we could fill in any details of the vehicle.
Luckily, we have records going back over 40 years to well before this Land Rover was even built – but we did not have to dig out dusty old stock books for this one – It was on our computerised records.
It turns out, we bought and sold the Land Rover back in 1992 (when it was just a baby) – and were happy to confirm the mileage at that time was 28,000 – so it turns out the current mileage 35,000 is probably correct !!
It has been off the road for a number of years, and James intends to recommission it, but keep it origianl
