Today, along with apparently 2 million other Yorkshire Folk, we turned out to see “Le Tour De France” pass right past our door.
The weather held out and the crowds were heaving.
As many of you will have seen in person and on the television – it was quite a spectacle, with the “caravane publicitaire” passing through first – followed shortly afterwards by the cyclists themselves – heading towards the now famous climb up to Holme Moss.
