Earlier this week, Gerald and Chloe collected FAD 824 – a 1960 Land Rover Series 2.

Previously known as “Oddball” it has now been re-named as “Lilly”.

As always, we were really pleased to receive pictures of Lilly in her new home, and the following kind words from Gerald.

We just took her for a run around the block with our gardener, his niece and our two Great Dane’s “Hector” the adult and “Harriet” the puppy, she particularly enjoyed it as you can see from her smile!!

So much fun. SO MUCH FUN!!! I knew we’d enjoy this.

Lilly sounds and smells delicious and shows that you don’t need to be going fast to have fun and that tootling around the country lanes at 40 mph can be just as much fun.

We are thrilled with Lilly, particularly Chloë – she had a huge smile on her face, as did we all – the simple pleasure of this sort of car is immense; nothing to worry or stress about, if it goes wrong it won’t cost an arm and a leg and it’s such fun.

Thanks a million for supplying us with the most wonderful little automotive creature
