Today, Simon came to visit. We have been rebuilding his 1973 Series 3 Land Rover.
He originally purchased it from us about 10 years ago, and since then it has been based at his weekend house in Abersoch, taking the boat to and from the water, carrying diving gear etc etc.
10 years of salt air and water had taken their toll, so at the end of last summer, Simon decided to entrust the Land Rover to us for a rebuild.
He could have simply swapped it for one of our rebuilt Land Rovers, but it has been part of the family for so many years it was decided that a rebuild was in order.
Having seen the Land Rover for the first time in a few months, we are pleased to report that Simon is delighted with the work and looking forwards to getting the Land Rover back.
