For those of us old enough to remember – 1973 was the year Britain became the 7th member of the common market, “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Old Oak Tree” (Dawn featuring Tony Orlando), “Welcome Home” (Peters & Lee) and “Blockbuster” (The Sweet) were the top selling singles.
It was also the year that Peter of Runcorn Cheshire bought a 9 year old Series IIA Land Rover PMB 393B.
He has enjoyed the Land Rover for the past 41 years, but unfortunately due to ill health it has become time to relinquish ownership and pass the mantle onto someone else.
Finished in Pastel Green, this original station wagon still has all of it’s original features – including the “elephant Hide” seats and trim – plus quite a few “70s” additions – such as the Radiomobile radio !
The Land Rover will be going into our workshops to be checked over prior to sale, which will include the old tax discs (shown) the original owners manual and service books as well as original workshop manuals.
This Land Rover will suit a new owner looking to use and improve the Land Rover as they go – for more details – why not contact one of our sales team.
