It’s a small world . . .
Today we received a message from one of our friends; Tony in Malta, telling us that he had spotted a nice photo on Flickr from one of his contacts Håkan in New York – showing a very nice Land Rover Series 3 County Soft Top.
It turns out that it is actually a Land Rover that we sold (To Michael in New York) back in 2011 !!
Luckily as well as it’s American plates, it still sports the UK registration number showing XKV 418X – making it easy for us to identify it.
Another interesting fact is that the “XKV” registration number identifies it as a factory demonstrator for the County specification – which was introduced in April 1982.
It just goes to show the power of the Internet !
