Here at Land Rover Centre, we pride ourselves on our customer service, and “going the extra mile” when needed.
Today we were very pleased to receive a letter from Steven, who is a Medical Officer at the U.S. Embassy in London.
“Dear Mark,
I just wanted to take the time to express my extreme gratitude for your exemplary customer service during my most recent visit to the Land Rover centre this past St. Patrick’s Day. The exquisitely re-built 1963 Land Rover Series IIA was exactly what I was looking for right down to the original Deep Bronze Green color thus appropriately christened “Paddy” on our first drive together. Perfectly timed too since I needed something green in keeping with the occasion!
I was especially impressed with your willingness to go above & beyond in seeing that after multiple-hour delays in the departure time of my return flight from Washington, DC which further delayed my arrival to the train station in Huddersfield you were promptly there to meet and greet.
All this, not to mention the monetary marathon we managed to negotiate via multiple attempts to get everything sorted over the phone! And at the conclusion of a long day of travel behind and nore ahead, with the darkness of the day descending, unfamiliar country roadways in the distance, weather threatening the Peak District you loaded “Paddy” onto your trailer and delivered us safely onto the motorway significantly reducing our journey home.
As this has been a part of a boyhood dream, I thank you for matching me with this vintage vehicle. I look forward to many years of pleasure in tinkering with this heritage model & will hopefully one day, upon my retirement complete the dream with a mountain estate consisting of a log cabin and proper parcel of land on which to drive it.
Sincerely,
Steven S David, PA-C
